- ➤ The Huntsville Music Office and Parks & Recreation will host the free Voices of Hope and Power choral concert on Saturday, Feb. 7 at Cavalry Hill Community Center. - ➤ UAH professor Emil Jovanov, who retired Jan. 1, is elected a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors for his work in wearable health monitoring. He will be honored at the NAI conference in Los Angeles on June 4. Huntsville Business Journal

- ➤ New NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman visited MSFC today and met with the Huntsville team as part of his tour of the agency’s major facilities — a move that sets a fresh tone for future space exploration. FOX 54

- ➤ Huntsville City FC has scheduled two exhibition matches at Wicks Family Field, with a Feb. 21 game against UAB (tickets are $10) and a March 28 free game against UAH, and will hold open tryouts for players 18 and older on Jan. 24 from 2 to 4 p.m. CT. FOX 54
