  • A family-owned BBQ restaurant in Maysville, established in 1958, was destroyed by an early morning fire, with the investigation pointing towards a space heater or electrical issue; fortunately, no injuries were reported.  WAAY 31

  • A Huntsville judge has rejected the request for an immunity hearing by Jeremiah Matkins, charged with the murder of Ray'shun Markelle Bates, arguing self-defense.  WHNT News 19

  • Huntsville and Breeze Airways sign an MOU to introduce six new destinations and a minimum of 384 flights per year at Huntsville International Airport, alongside incentives to facilitate this expansion.  City of Huntsville
