- ➤ Today, the U.S. Space & Rocket Center begins its third annual AI symposium offering beginner workshops while upgrading its planetarium’s NASA imaging systems to provide enhanced experiences for visitors. FOX 54
- ➤ DAR High School students won first place in the Alabama State Junior Chef Competition on Friday, Jan. 23. The team will compete in the Southeast Regional Junior Chef Competition in April + the Marshall County School System will serve their winning dish in the cafeteria this semester. WAAY 31

- ➤ Alabama added 30,000 residents in 2025 with a 0.6% growth rate driven mainly by domestic migration despite a significant decline in international arrivals and more deaths than births—an overall trend that also benefited the Huntsville metro area. AL.com
