- ➤ The Air Pollution Control Board honored Redstone Arsenal and the Solid Waste Disposal Authority on Thursday for reducing harmful emissions in Huntsville — their project features a 12.4-MW turbine that converts waste into power to lower local pollution. AL.com

- ➤ Records show nearly 5,000 new housing units were listed in 2025 with the highest single-family lot approvals since 2007 and builders expecting more construction over the next few years.
