- ➤ The Huntsville City Council approved a $20 million contract for the first phase of the Pinhook Creek project, which will restore flood protection and aquatic life along 3,200 linear ft of the creek. - ➤ Dr. John Christy will retire from UAH and as state climatologist in July after nearly 40 years of service, and Gov.
