- ➤ Morgan County Schools has installed five new weapons detection systems at high schools to boost security while keeping a welcoming entry for students — district officials say the system will later be expanded to all 18 public schools. AL.com

- ➤ NASA rolled the Artemis II rocket and Orion spacecraft to Kennedy Space Center early Friday for an early April six-day launch window that will send astronauts on a 10-day lunar mission.
