- ➤ Therapy dogs working full time at Huntsville Hospital helped ease the stress of sick children yesterday by creating a friendlier, less intimidating environment within the hospital. WAAY 31
- ➤ A student at Grissom High School tested positive for tuberculosis over spring break and has not returned since, while free testing for those in close contact will be available April 2 (through the school and health department). Officials are coordinating precautions to keep students and staff safe. WAFF 48
- ➤ GeneCapture, Inc. demonstrated its breakthrough portable test that cuts infection diagnosis time from days to hours this week at HudsonAlpha. - ➤ The Huntsville Planning Commission approved preliminary plans for 56 lots at Maple Grove in Greenbrier Preserve South and a relayout for 63 lots at Westmoore Landing, paving the way for over 1,100 and 3,000 homes respectively.
