  • Cummings Aerospace has introduced the Hellhound S3, a man-portable, 3D-printed drone with interchangeable payloads built at its 46,000 sqft facility at Redstone Gateway. The company will begin flight tests for its future S4 variant this summer & aims to deliver affordable, versatile tech for soldiers.  Huntsville Business Journal
  • Today, Q’s Korean BBQ & Revolving Sushi on University Drive received a failing score of 77 from health inspectors for violations including nonfunctional hot water taps, leaving the popular restaurant with the Kitchen Cops on its case.  WAFF 48

  • The Fields at Decatur recently hosted the groundbreaking for Rock the South Festival as the event moves from Cullman after 14 years. The festival will feature two stages, expanded campgrounds, and fan zones with headliners (Jason Aldean, Riley Green and Zach Top) set to thrill tens of thousands of fans.  AL.com

ECONOMY NEWS

  • The Huntsville metro grew by 14,000 people in 2025 (a 2.6% increase), making Limestone and Madison among the fastest growing counties nationwide. Data from the U.S. Census Bureau shows that new jobs helped drive this local population boost.  AL.com
