  • The Women’s Expo returns to Huntsville for its sixth year with local exhibitors and speakers offering interactive sessions and networking opportunities to empower women. The event will take place soon as part of the expo series.  WAFF 48
  • John Roberts, an AT&T line worker, rescued an elderly man who fell into the creek at Big Spring Park in downtown Huntsville. He quickly called for help and brought him safely to shore before paramedics arrived.  FOX 54
  • A ceremony honoring Vietnam veterans took place in Huntsville ahead of National Vietnam War Veterans Day and recognized local service members for their sacrifice.  WAFF 48

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Between July 2024 and July 2025, Limestone County, just west of Huntsville, grew by 3.3% making it the fastest growing county; Madison County added more than 10,000 residents while some rural counties lost people.  AL.com
