- ➤ The U.S. Space and Rocket Center will host an Artemis II watch party in Saturn V Hall on Wednesday, Apr. 1. Gates at the Davidson Center for Space Exploration open at 4:30 p.m. for free admission and discounted museum entry before the launch window begins at 5:25 p.m. WAAY 31
- ➤ A local ministry will host the Annual Jail & Prison Ministry Second Chance Prayer Breakfast on April 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at The Jackson Center to support people reentering society. Pastor Errol Davis (with 30 years of experience) will speak and tickets cost $40. WAAY 31

- ➤ Krispy Kreme is launching a limited-edition Artemis II Doughnut to celebrate the historic NASA mission. The doughnut, available today through Friday at the North Memorial Parkway shop, has blue icing, Oreo crunch, and cookies-and-creme buttercream to mark the event. Huntsville Business Journal

- ➤ Limestone County was named Alabama’s fastest-growing county in 2025 with nearly 4,000 new residents and a total of 122,928 people, making it the 10th most populous county. Local leaders say continued economic investments and quality infrastructure will help the county soon overtake Morgan County + secure more growth. Huntsville Business Journal
- ➤ Huntsville Utilities received about 50,000 bill complaints in January and February after a cold snap forced heat pumps to use extra energy and auxiliary heating (and TVA peak billing methods boosted costs). The utility also noted water leaks and past due balances while offering fixed billing and repair assistance. AL.com

- ➤ Firefighters contained a small wildfire near Killingsworth Cove early Monday morning after 1 to 2 acres burned. The incident is now under control, and officials continue to monitor the area for safety. FOX 54

- ➤ Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) engineers built the Orion Stage Adapter on Mar. 30, a key part for NASA’s Artemis II mission and a milestone in preparing the spacecraft for flight. WAAY 31
