Robins & Morton completed the renovation and expansion of Signature Aviation’s private terminal at Huntsville International Airport, adding 5000 square feet of renovated space and 2500 square feet of new space.

The upgraded terminal now offers a redesigned entrance, spacious lounges, and private meeting rooms for private, corporate, and government aviation clients.

Yesterday, Gov. Kay Ivey signed a bill that gives state employees & public school workers paid parental leave.

The law gives eight weeks to female employees after childbirth, two weeks to male employees, and adoptive parents a choice of eight or two weeks while requiring a return-to-work period of at least eight weeks with exceptions for serious health issues.

Celeste Bradley, a 25-year-old Madison woman who lost her hands and legs to sepsis in December, returned home after physical therapy in Birmingham and now uses a prosthetic hook and wheelchair as she waits for prosthetic legs and hands.

Her community raised over $40,000 to support her recovery and she shares her journey (celestescourage) on YouTube and Instagram to inspire others.

St. John Paul II Catholic High School’s varsity baseball team was sanctioned by the Alabama High School Athletic Association for playing an ineligible player.

The team was fined, placed on probation and must forfeit all wins in which that player took part, with the violation reported by the school.
