- ➤ Huntsville was named the nation’s most livable small and mid-size city by livability.com. The report rated the city highest among 2,000 and cited affordable living, top schools, and green spaces (and a famed space center) as key factors. Huntsville Business Journal
- ➤ Enable Madison County built and repaired 120 wheelchair ramps in the past year for homebound residents, serving seniors and veterans. The group will host its fundraiser, A Night for Enable: Disco Nights, on April 16 at The Royal at Stovehouse Event Center. WAAY 31
- ➤ Huntsville’s Spacewalk Trail 3.0 was completed this morning with a ceremony that celebrated a two-year project led by 16-year-old Lana Lien. - ➤ L3Harris in Huntsville produced RS-25 engine controllers that managed throttle during Artemis II’s April 1 launch from Cape Canaveral. Local lab workers tested the controllers (the engines' ‘brains’) to ensure safe performance from liftoff to re-entry. WAAY 31

HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Crestwood Medical Center has joined the Huntsville Hospital Health System under nonprofit ownership while keeping its name and facilities to serve Madison County patients. - ➤ WellStone opened a new clinic on the 9200 block of Madison Boulevard in Madison to serve adults 19 and older with therapy and referrals; clients can transfer care by contacting a therapist, and new clients may call 256-705-6444 for appointments (referrals include psychiatric evaluations and primary care in Huntsville).
