  • Artemis II astronauts, heading to the moon today for a lunar flyaround, are using backup urine bags+while engineers work to clear ice blocking the flush line of a malfunctioning space toilet. The crew is set to break Apollo 13's distance record as they capture views of the lunar far side.  AL.com
  • An Army Apache helicopter made a safe, precautionary landing in a field near Arab Friday after pilots detected a maintenance issue during a routine flight — maintainers later confirmed there was no risk to people or property.  FOX 54

  • The University of Alabama in Huntsville has named its softball field 'Les Stuedeman Field' beginning Friday to honor coach Les Stuedeman, who built a nationally competitive program.
