  • Dozens of sailors came to Huntsville on Monday to begin the Rocket City’s first Navy Week as part of a seven-day celebration. They will take part in community service projects, musical shows and STEM events such as the Earth Day clean-up today (4-6 p.m.) at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center.  AL.com

  • Divya Thakur moved to Huntsville in 2020 and started Yard Robotics in 2021 using lidar, cameras, and smart tech to cut lawns and keep neighborhoods neat. The company now earns about $45,000 a month (with plans to grow to $1 million in revenue) while building a team known for reliable work.  Huntsville Business Journal

HEALTH NEWS

  • The Madison County Health Department reported health inspection scores for food places inspected from April 7th to 11th, 2025—three sites earned a perfect 100 while some establishments in Huntsville scored below 85. Several venues had issues with food temperatures and sanitation that were corrected or set for follow-up.  WAAY 31
