- ➤ The Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering opened its $12.5M Sentinel Center last Friday at its campus, offering 1,100 seats for athletics and student programs. The school’s foundation also announced a $3M investment for the Isenberg Institute (a new hub with a 64-bed dorm) to boost innovation. AL.com
- ➤ A Huntsville high school robotics team will head to the world championship in Houston on April 25 after winning the Engineering Inspiration Award for expanding STEM opportunities. The team built its robot in just two years working from a coach's home and collaborating with students from several local schools. WAAY 31

- ➤ Boeing announced that during a recent flight test, a U.S. Army CH-47F Chinook successfully completed its first fully automated approach and landing using A2X software (which lets pilots set key landing parameters while reducing their workload). The company will conduct more tests before the Army receives the final version. AL.com
- ➤ U.S. Army infantry drone operators tested a new warhead designed for unmanned aerial systems at Redstone Arsenal today. The demonstration is part of efforts to boost rapid-launch capabilities. FOX 54
