Huntsville Police arrested Cory Dewayne Horton (54) on a first-degree arson charge after he intentionally set a fire outside a bedroom window at a home on Yukon Drive late Wednesday night during an argument, and he is now held at Madison County Jail without bond.

The City of Huntsville approved an agreement on April 24 to hire Dr. Larry Lowe as its first Chief Innovation Officer, and his two-year consulting contract will begin May 1 as he helps agencies such as Huntsville Utilities and the Solid Waste Disposal Authority adopt new technology+ improve city operations without cutting jobs.
