- ➤ The Huntsville Police Department is investigating a shooting near MidCity Saturday night at the 930 block of Old Monrovia Road—officers found gunfire evidence in the parking lot where shots hit four unoccupied vehicles and businesses though no injuries were reported—while the Violent Crimes Unit continues its probe. - ➤ Huntsville Police responded shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday to reports of a shooting in the 1900 block of Sparkman Drive—and found an adult male with a gunshot wound who later died. WAAY 31
