- ➤ On Saturday morning, Huntsville’s Green Team hosted the South Huntsville Cleanup Day at Bell Mountain Park — supplies were provided and volunteers of all ages gathered to work toward a litter-free community. - ➤ Huntsville Police Department and Huntsville Fire and Rescue hosted a free community event—Heroes on the Block Community Party—at the Dr. Robert Shurney Legacy Center on Saturday, May 17 to connect with local residents through food, games, and public safety displays. - ➤ Arts Huntsville debuted Community Pillars, a new sculpture at Archer Park last Saturday created by local sculptor Gwyer Sinclair using metal columns based on drawings from local students.
