  • State Rep. Susan DuBose said that after two years in the legislature, her 'What is a Woman Act' became law while her religious release bill, (HB342), was voted down after school board associations and lobbyists opposed it. She added that a bill to raise the age of medical consent was compromised by lobbying pressure and she will try again later to raise it to 18.  1819 News
