ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Homeowners in south Huntsville report that sewage from Merrimack Manor now overflows weekly into nearby yards, troubling residents who have battled the issue for years. City officials are reviewing the problem and plan to push for a permanent fix if it continues.  WAFF 48
  • A hazmat team responded to vehicle fluid leaking into a creek after a delivery truck crashed in Madison County (cleanup efforts are underway) to protect the waterway.  WAFF 48
