ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Garry Woods, a 67-year-old man, was struck and killed on Tuesday night at about 9:30 p.m. near University Drive and Sparkman Drive because he was walking outside a designated crosswalk—police said the driver remained at the scene and no charges are expected. AL.com

- ➤ Two separate burglary investigations led to arrests in Huntsville—Michael William Love surrendered on May 25 at a business on Bob Wallace Avenue with help from K-9 Smoke, and Davon Leon Milton was taken during a traffic stop for a May 4 burglary at a Research Park Boulevard business—and both men were booked into Madison County Jail. - ➤ The Huntsville Planning Commission approved plans for Alabama A&M to build a 93,000 square foot three level student amenity building to serve as a hub for dining, study and social spaces on Tuesday night. The project is one of two campus buildings totaling more than $140 million aimed at supporting growing enrollment and enhancing student engagement. AL.com

- ➤ NASA reported that an unoccupied building (Building 4604) at Marshall Space Flight Center was damaged Tuesday evening by severe storms with its roof and side hit and no injuries reported.
