- ➤ The Madison County Sheriff’s Office hosted the first leg of the annual Alabama Law Enforcement Torch Run in downtown Huntsville on Friday to raise awareness for the Special Olympics in Troy; law enforcement from across counties participated and the games began on Friday and continue through today. - ➤ Huntsville Animal Services treated its longest resident to a day out of the kennel on May 29, a special break that allowed staff to celebrate the animal's milestone stay at the shelter. WAAY 31

- ➤ Marshall County Tourism & Sports will unveil a new photo trail next week with a ribbon cutting on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Cathedral Caverns State Park. The trail features braille signage and accessible stops at local parks along Lake Guntersville + Bucks Pocket State Park. AL.com
