- ➤ L3Harris Technologies is investing $25 million to expand its manufacturing facility in Huntsville by adding 130,000 sqft. The work is scheduled to begin soon. WAFF 48
- ➤ Lockheed Martin opened its new 88,000 sqft missile assembly plant in Courtland on Monday to build the Next Generation Interceptor for defense. About 100 workers will staff the facility as part of a quarter-billion-dollar investment that boosts local high-skill jobs. AL.com

- ➤ TVA is finalizing proposals from its February letter to local power companies (including Huntsville Utilities) to ensure that data centers cover rising costs as their load doubles by 2030. The TVA Board will review the changes on Aug. 20 while protecting rates for regular customers. AL.com
