- ➤ Huntsville Parks and Recreation invites families to celebrate dads and father figures with Dads’ Day at the Park on Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Loretta P Spencer Sports Complex—this free event will offer live music, food trucks, sports games and a home run derby. - ➤ At the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, local residents watched the Blue Origin NS-32 launch on Saturday when a pilot-less spaceship and booster lifted off from West Texas and landed safely. - ➤ Titomic USA opened its 59,000-square-foot facility in Huntsville on Monday as its global headquarters for commercial and defense work. - ➤ Gregory Kirk—a former pool contractor from Muscle Shoals—was sentenced to 20 years in prison for stealing over $600,000, forging licenses and permits, and fraudulently using a customer’s credit card, according to Attorney General Steve Marshall's Tuesday announcement. WHNT News 19

- ➤ Huntsville Hospital launched a postpartum awareness bracelet program that gives new mothers a way to spot dangers like bleeding, depression and high blood pressure after delivery — the bracelets, worn for 6 to 8 weeks, remind both caregivers and first responders of warning signs.
