- ➤ Firefighters responded to a house fire on Thursday in Toney after a lightning strike caused heavy smoke from the attic (off Highway 53 between Toney Road and Old Railroad Bed Road) and extinguished the blaze by 4:15 p.m. with no injuries reported while an investigation is ongoing. WHNT News 19

- ➤ At her Aniah’s Law hearing on Friday, Kierra Clark faced charges as Huntsville Police revealed text messages linking her to a plan—allegedly directing a suspect to abduct and potentially torture realtor Ronald Dumas, who disappeared in December after his car was found in Memphis and bank records tied him to a prostitution scheme.
