- ➤ Jason Rose was arrested after a multi-county police chase on I-65 Friday night as he fled southbound while throwing items from his car; officers from Limestone and Ardmore intercepted him near Priceville—deputies recovered a quarter pound of meth and he now faces several charges. WAFF 48
- ➤ Jason Rose was arrested after a multi-state police chase on I-65 ended on Aug 9 when spike strips were deployed in Limestone and Morgan Counties near Priceville (officers seized a quarter pound of meth from his truck) and he now faces charges including trafficking methamphetamine and possessing a pistol as a violent felon. - ➤ Huntsville officials will hold a town hall on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Optimist Recreation Center to review renovation plans for Goldsmith-Schiffman Field near Five Points — the upgrade may include pickleball courts, flag football fields and a new playground. AL.com
- ➤ The Huntsville Police Department will host a forum on the Hands-Free Ordinance on Tuesday, Aug. 12 at 6 p.m. at Widener Auditorium at the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology+ community members are invited to ask questions about its enforcement. HPD officers along with the Police Citizens Advisory Council will provide details and answers+ the event comes after over a year of the ordinance being in effect. WHNT News 19
