- ➤ Performance Drone Works held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and demonstrated its new C100 drone by dropping a mock explosive payload behind its 90,000-square foot robotics facility in the Research Park District. The company began drone production on July 1 and has military contracts as it plans to hire rapidly, adding high-quality jobs and an $81 million annual impact to Huntsville—boosting the local economy. - ➤ Huntsville police said Jennifer Renate Gray, 53, was arrested on Saturday after an argument on Governors Drive escalated when she hit a woman with a small screwdriver—she was charged with second-degree assault and her bond was set at $15,000. WHNT News 19
- ➤ A Huntsville man was arrested this weekend for allegedly assaulting two police officers — the incident occurred just months after the city settled with him. FOX 54
