  • County officials held a news conference with updates on the fatal ATV wreck at Indian Mountain ATV Park that killed two adults and injured seven children—investigations into the incident continue.  FOX 54

  • The Huntsville Museum of Art reopened Sunday after a six-month closure for upgrades and now welcomes local visitors.  WAFF 48

HEALTH NEWS

  • The FDA approved updated Covid-19 vaccines for adults 65 and older and for people with high-risk conditions — about 100 to 200 million people are now eligible for enhanced protection. Pharmacies and doctors’ offices in Huntsville will offer the vaccines this fall after patients consult with their doctors.  WAAY 31

LIFESTYLE NEWS

  • Bennett Farms in Heflin has built a new high-tech Sweet Grown Alabama corn maze for families that features two routes and fun activities such as hayrides, a pumpkin farm and a wagon train—set to open on the first weekend in October with admission at $14 covering all offerings.  1819 News
