- ➤ Huntsville police are asking for help finding 12-year-old Aabreanna Kelley, who was last seen Saturday at 1:45 p.m. leaving her home on Delicado Drive in a black long-sleeve shirt, black shorts and slide sandals after an argument, and anyone with information is asked to call Investigator Kreiter at 256-883-3739. - ➤ Gov. Kay Ivey said that Space Command Headquarters is officially coming to Huntsville after state leaders began preparations in 2018 following a directive to plan for Space Force. Ivey praised Redstone Arsenal leaders—who are ready to welcome military personnel and their families—and congressional members for their support in making the move a reality. WAAY 31
- ➤ At Auburn University Research and Innovation Campus, cybersecurity professionals, educators, and defense leaders honored Cyber Huntsville’s 15th anniversary today as Mayor Tommy Battle stressed the need to build a stronger cyber workforce. Local defense contractors will soon face new CMMC 2.0 rules—requiring updated cybersecurity practices—when phased enforcement starts in October. Huntsville Business Journal
