  • The Orion Amphitheater hosted the fourth annual CulturA Festival on Sunday, September 21 to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with local vendors showcasing traditional foods, crafts, live music and dancing, and a wellness village sponsored by Huntsville Hospital — drawing visitors from various Hispanic cultures.   • Today, Huntsville will welcome Space Command workers coming from Colorado as the Air Force chose Redstone Arsenal based on its clear merits in defense and space work. The move is expected to add skilled professionals and boost the local economy—continuing our long history in space exploration.  AL.com
  • State Sen. Chris Elliott said on FM Talk 106'5’s radio that AHSAA has become a military junta that controls school sports and limits choice for students—he called for the legislature to reform the system to restore accountability.
