- ➤ Jennifer Wolverton, founder of MARS Microschools in Madison County, said microschool leaders need full funding so they can be paid fairly and run safe, full-time schools. She urged lawmakers to update the CHOOSE Act by boosting funds for special needs students and other costs—helping microschools offer better education. 1819 News

- ➤ Owners of 708 Bar & Grille are urging supporters to attend a town hall meeting Monday evening at the Dr. Richard Showers Sr. Recreation Center — two days before a court hearing at 9 a.m. on Wednesday will consider lifting the shutdown order they say resulted from a scheduling error. FOX 54
