Kalm Therapeutics in Huntsville has added Dr. Peter Lio— a Harvard-trained dermatologist and researcher— as both an investor and Scientific Advisory Board member to advance its experimental patch therapy for inflammatory skin diseases.

The City of Huntsville’s Parks & Recreation Department is collecting warm apparel in cooperation with Christmas Charities Year Round through the Cozy Care Holiday Drive, which will run until Dec.

8 to help those in need as the weather turns cold. Donors should drop off clean, wearable coats, hats, and gloves in designated boxes at recreation centers (donations should not be left at the door).

The City of Huntsville passed a resolution to provide up to $1.98 million in interest-free predevelopment funding for Phase 2 of the Mill Creek project — which will build about 100 senior housing units.
