  • St. Thomas Episcopal Church hosted its annual Lobsterfest today to raise funds for First Stop, Patterson Place and Sleep in Heavenly Peace. The event supports the church’s mission work—assisting local non-profits in continuing their services.  FOX 54

  • City officials discussed plans for the new North Village shopping center during a recent meeting and explained that the project will bring more shopping options and growth to North Huntsville—residents and local businesses are looking forward to the changes.  FOX 54

  • A freeze warning is in effect from 10 p.m. Sunday to 10 a.m. Monday in parts of north central, northeast and northwest Alabama as sub-freezing temperatures may harm crops and outdoor plumbing. No. 4 Alabama beat LSU 20-9, moving the Tide to an 8-1 record.  WAAY 31
