  • The Huntsville Music Office ended its landmark year on Nov 20 at the new Vesper Sky Lounge inside the Trilogy Hotel—leaders reviewed national honors, a legislative win for music incentives, and growing local event support that advanced the city’s music scene.  Huntsville Business Journal

  • Three UAH CanSat teams finished first, second and sixth in an international competition held in Monterey — Staunton. UAH team ASTRA placed 10th in the University Rover Challenge at the Mars Desert Research Station in Utah.  Huntsville Business Journal

  • The Huntsville Police Department celebrated K-9 Boomer's retirement, marking six years of explosives detection at major events and public gatherings. Boomer now retires with his handler (Sargent Kevin Matthews), and his career underscores how police dogs will keep our community safe and efficient in future operations.  Huntsville Business Journal
  • The City of Huntsville will offer free rides on all fixed-route and paratransit buses on Dec. 1, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.—the service honors Rosa Parks' 70-year legacy and supports accessible transit citywide.  WAAY 31
