  • Camigan opened its newest office at Redstone Gateway in Huntsville on Dec. 1, hosting a ribbon-cutting with Mayor Tommy Battle and local officials. The defense tech firm uses AI-driven kill chain automation to support air defense and plans to expand its regional team.  Huntsville Business Journal
  • Eli Lilly announced plans to build a $6 billion manufacturing facility in Huntsville that will create 450 jobs and begin construction in 2026.  WAAY 31

EDUCATION NEWS

  • The new 50,000 sqft Frank J. Williams Boys & Girls Club in North Huntsville will open on Jan. 5, offering classrooms, labs, and STEM programs to help build youth leadership (named after former club member Frank J. Williams).  WAAY 31

  • Decatur native Philip Rivers, the 44-year-old St. Michael Catholic High School football coach, signed with the Colts’ practice squad after the team lost its starting quarterback to an Achilles tear + its backup to a knee injury; he worked out Monday as he looks to return to NFL play.  1819 News
