- ➤ The Huntsville city council approved an almost 700-acre annexation near Gurley and advanced the Westmoore Landing project today. This decision will set the stage for expanding local city services. WAFF 48
- ➤ The Huntsville City Council approved rezoning for Westmoore Landing, a Providence-style housing development east of I-65 and south of Highway 20 and I-565. Developers plan to build about 3,000 homes, with construction set to begin in May and some homes opening in 2027 (developer Dan Horwath said the project targets diverse buyers). WAFF 48
