- ➤ Police say a suspect barricaded himself in an apartment outside Gate 10 near Redstone Arsenal after firing into an apartment and, following a negotiation effort, the armed 38-year-old Edward Deon White surrendered—he was arrested and charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling while nearby residents were evacuated.
